GOTR Memphis is excited to launch the peer-to-peer fundraising campaign Unstoppable Us for the first time ever this spring. Unstoppable Us is a completely optional, non-competitive campaign that empowers our program participants to join us in our promise to keep Girls on the Run accessible to all folks in the 901, regardless of ability to pay. Girls who raise over $100 will earn special GOTR capes for 5K day!

Girls on the Run’s biggest event of the Fall/Spring is the GOTR 5K at the conclusion of each season. There are many physical, emotional, and mental benefits of running a 5K that each person can take away. Each response is unique in its own way but inspiration, confidence, and joy radiates out of each separate individual's response. Keep reading to learn more about why you should sign up for the GOTR Memphis 5K on May 4th and celebrate girl power with the 901!

Girls on the Run Memphis is thrilled to welcome Molly Barker to the 901 ahead of our Empowered Giving Circle fundraising event March 30th! Molly will be speaking about her incredible journey and how she overcame the challenges in her way on Sunday, March 30th at the Annesdale Mansion. While the event is free to attend, it serves as a fundraiser and information session for the GOTR Memphis Empowered Giving Circle, a group of community champions that make a significant annual or monthly contribution to GOTR Memphis. 

Girls on the Run Memphis helps girls in the 901 and across Shelby County recognize their potential and rise above limiting gender expectations. We are so privileged to announce three new sites that have started this spring: St. Mary’s Episcopal School, LaGrange-Moscow Elementary, and Freedom Prep Millbranch. How exciting! With each new site, more girls will be a part of the program and–more importantly–our GOTR family.

Join us on May 4th for an afternoon of empowerment, whole-body wellness, and girl power celebrations!

GOTR is honored to have so many organizational partnerships throughout the 901. One partnership we want to highlight in particular is UTHSC, a university that has helped GOTR soar to new heights!
