The GOTR Memphis 5K is in just 2 weeks!

At Girls on the Run, there are so many ways for the whole Memphis community to get involved–but the fan favorite is definitely helping with the culmination of all our girls’ hard work at the end of season 5K! The girls really put their all into the event, and there are so many fun ways to engage on this special day. Participants and supporters alike are able to get their faces painted, decorate their bibs, paint their nails, and more!

Every year, the race promises to be better than the last, partially because of the amazing community that comes together to support us. This year is no exception, and Girls on the Run is thrilled to be partnering with so many awesome community advocates, including 901FitLife, BlueCross BlueShield, Ballet Memphis, Collage Dance, Double Dutch Therapy, Chick-fil-A, the Shelby Literacy Center, UTHSC, and others.

Entertainment by Rhodes College Cheer, Lipstick on Your Collar, and DJ Gee Honey will keep your head nodding all day long, and promises to be an amazing set of performances. BlueCross BlueShield, Collage, and Ballet Memphis are informational partners, and we’re super excited for them to showcase everything they have to offer.

At the Fall 5K, everyone will be able to have a good time with the people they love! The GOTR 5K is for all ages, and offers a full afternoon of endless fun. Even if you’re not participating in the race, you can still join in as a volunteer, cheerleader, or spirit runner. The event is welcome to everyone, especially those who want to walk the course and help cheer everyone on. Running is not required!

This year, the 5K takes place on November 9th, at Overton Park. For more details–and to register–visit our website at gotrmemphis.org/5k!
