GOTR's Molly Barker & The Empowered Giving Circle

Girls on the Run Memphis is thrilled to welcome Molly Barker to the 901 ahead of our Empowered Giving Circle fundraising event March 30th! Molly will be speaking about her incredible journey and how she overcame the challenges in her way on Sunday, March 30th at the Annesdale Mansion. While the event is free to attend, it serves as a fundraiser and information session for the GOTR Memphis Empowered Giving Circle, a group of community champions that make a significant annual or monthly contribution to GOTR Memphis.

A Check-In on New GOTR Sites for Spring 2025

Girls on the Run Memphis helps girls in the 901 and across Shelby County recognize their potential and rise above limiting gender expectations. We are so privileged to announce three new sites that have started this spring: St. Mary’s Episcopal School, LaGrange-Moscow Elementary, and Freedom Prep Millbranch. How exciting! With each new site, more girls will be a part of the program and–more importantly–our GOTR family.

The GOTR Memphis 5K and the Volunteers that Make It Happen

GOTR Memphis recently held its largest 5K ever this past November, with over 600 people coming out to run, walk, and support at Overton Park and celebrate all our girls accomplished this past season. The success of our 5K would not have been possible without our fantastic community partners and volunteers who work throughout the season to plan, set-up, and execute a fun, efficient, and safe event.
