Celebrating 30 Years of Girls on the Run

🎉 30 years of Girls on the Run!

What began in 1996 with just 13 girls in Charlotte has grown into a movement that has served nearly 2.9 million girls across North America.

Here in Memphis, we’re proud to be part of that story. Since 2018, Girls on the Run Memphis has served close to 2,700 girls, trained more than 600 coaches, celebrated 18 program seasons and brought our community together for 14 unforgettable 5Ks.

Behind every number is a girl building confidence, a coach showing up as a mentor, and a community cheering her across the finish line.

Today, we celebrate 30 years of Girls on the Run — and everyone who has helped carry this movement forward, one girl, one team and one finish line at a time. 💗

Here’s to the next 30! 🎂🏃‍♀️
