Celebrating Savannah Miller’s Next Chapter

Savannah Miller has been an incredible part of the Girls on the Run Memphis story over the past two years. Through her leadership, compassion, and dedication, she has helped grow our programs and deepen our impact across the community. Her presence has meant so much to our staff, coaches, families, and especially the girls we serve.

Later this summer, Savannah will leave Memphis to attend graduate school at Yale. While we are thrilled for her as she begins this exciting new chapter, our entire GOTR community will miss her dearly. She has been a meaningful part of our growth and heart, and her impact will be felt for years to come.

I personally will deeply miss Savannah’s creative and innovative spirit, her amazing writing skills, her fearless pursuit of new opportunities, and her calming presence. She has inspired me to step out of my own comfort zone and use my passion to fuel my work. I could not ask for a better partner in living and breathing all things GOTR Memphis.

Savannah leaves behind a strong foundation and big shoes to fill. As we celebrate all she has contributed, we are also moving forward with hope and excitement as we begin the search for our next Program Manager. We look forward to welcoming a new leader who will help us continue this important work and advance our mission.
