As we celebrate Savannah Miller’s next chapter, we reflect with gratitude on the leadership, heart, and lasting impact she has brought to Girls on the Run Memphis. While we will miss her dearly, we also look ahead with hope and optimism as we begin the search for our next Program Manager.

Girls on the Run Memphis is honored to be a recipient of the 2025 Nike Community Impact Fund grant award.

Girls on the Run Memphis helps girls in the 901 and across Shelby County recognize their potential and rise above limiting gender expectations. We are so privileged to announce three new sites that have started this spring: St. Mary’s Episcopal School, LaGrange-Moscow Elementary, and Freedom Prep Millbranch. How exciting! With each new site, more girls will be a part of the program and–more importantly–our GOTR family.

Gina Neely of Bluff City Life made it out to our Girls on the Run site at Vision Prep to participate in one of the lessons and talk to the team there. When I got the call that I had been selected as the new Program Manager for Girls on the Run Memphis, the first emotion I felt was excitement. Then, I got nervous. Those emotions- and more- came to a head at my first GOTR Memphis 5K on April 28^th.
