Girls on the Run’s biggest event of the Fall/Spring is the GOTR 5K at the conclusion of each season. There are many physical, emotional, and mental benefits of running a 5K that each person can take away. Each response is unique in its own way but inspiration, confidence, and joy radiates out of each separate individual's response. Girls on the Run Memphis helps girls in the 901 and across Shelby County recognize their potential and rise above limiting gender expectations. We are so privileged to announce three new sites that have started this spring: St. Mary’s Episcopal School, LaGrange-Moscow Elementary, and Freedom Prep Millbranch. How exciting! With each new site, more girls will be a part of the program and–more importantly–our GOTR family.

GOTR is honored to have so many organizational partnerships throughout the 901. One partnership we want to highlight in particular is UTHSC, a university that has helped GOTR soar to new heights!
