The photographers that have captured the heart of GOTR

Sharpe Field Day

1.)Tell us about the team behind Sprinkle Creative and why you love taking pictures.

Hello GOTR Memphis! We are Stephanie Ramirez & Justin Goodman, the dynamic duo behind the fun and vibrant images that make up Sprinkle Creative! We are currently Fiancés who love creating images that capture the joy, energy and sweet moments from all of our photography sessions, especially when it comes to Girls on the Run Memphis events!  Stephanie has been photographing for almost ten years now and loves to bring as much enthusiasm and vibrancy into her photography as possible. Stephanie originally started Sprinkle Creative as an Arts & Crafts blog which quickly morphed into a creative photography business. Justin joined the team when he met Stephanie whose passion for photography inspired him to pick up a camera as well. Together, we are dedicated to celebrating life's sweet moments and documenting every step of the way!

2. What special touch does ‘Sprinkle Creative’ bring to photographing events?

At Sprinkle Creative, we believe in bringing out the lively, expressive side of everyone we photograph. If you've seen Stephanie, she will do just about any silly face to get the shot! She has even convinced Justin to sport a unicorn onesie to the runs! Because let's be honest, unicorns, rainbows and tutus are a must at Girls on the Run! But in the end, it's about capturing the smiles, the laughs and the jumps for joy! And of course, sprinkle a lot of creativity! We love incorporating fun angles and silly poses!

3. What drew you to get involved with GOTR Memphis?

I have to give a big shout out to my sweet friend Jessica Van Eyck for reaching out to me back in 2018. She called me one day and mentioned there's an organization coming to Memphis that incorporated running and volunteering with kids. She mentioned they could use someone with photo, video and design skills, and I was intrigued! I remember attending the informational meeting with her, and I learned so much about GOTR and the benefits of the program for girls in 3rd-8th grades. I was ready to volunteer and help out in any way that I could in the summer of 2018! It was then that I photographed my first GOTR session with the Memphis chapter!

4. What’s your favorite memory(s) of photographing a GOTR Memphis event/practice?

As I look back in the past 5 years with GOTR Memphis, it is so hard to pinpoint one event or practice! I have seen some of these girls season after season, and it is so incredible to see them grow up to be so confident and strong! I can also see it in my photos. I remember photographing the first 5K with about 25 girls and now photographing 150 plus! Seeing the growth of the organization has been a pleasure to witness, and I'm so proud to have been a part of the journey!
