GOTR Memphis is growing with our newest full-time hire!

Hi everyone! My name is Savannah Miller, and I'm ecstatic to be joining the Girls on the Run Memphis team. I'm a converted Memphianmeaning I moved here from Virginia Beach about two years ago and fell in love with the city on sight. At Dartmouth College, I studied Theatre, English, and Russian, so the arts and creativity weaves itself into everything I do. I'm also currently pursuing my MFA in Creative Writing through Augsburg University, and I'm excited to start writing about all the wonderful things we have going on here at GOTR Memphis!

Outside of Girls on the Run, I am a published playwright, poet, and author, and my work has appeared in publications through the Sierra Club, Jelly Bucket, and others. I was also one of two folks selected as inaugural Young Playwrights in Process through Young Playwrights' Theater in Washington, D.C. I have a background in education and theatre artistrytwo skillsets I am eager to contribute to Girls on the Run as we continue to grow and blossom in the coming years! I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
